The Warriors cooled down a little bit. Also, Klay Thompson's 37 point quarter changed things. The media noticed a big difference. Curry is playing with Thompson while Harden is playing with Patrick Beverley.
That makes sense. Although I don't agree with that logic you say the media is using. I mean, Harden may not have a Klay Thompson, but he has Dwight Howard to command attention inside.

Have you watched the Rockets this year? Dwight Howard has missed like half the season. And he is clearly injured when he is playing.
The guy also creates no offense on his own. But the guard position is what I focused on because it puts a ton of pressure on Harden to have a second guard who is pretty bad. In my opinion, Beverley this year is one of the worst starting PGs in the league. He hasn't even been good defensively this year. Very frustrated we didn't upgrade at the deadline.

Admittedly no (school is kicking my arse this semester). I forgot he's been hurt. With that factored in, it makes much more sense why Klay's rise in popularity has hurt Curry's mvp chances
