Thought you smarty's would know this. The Wizards. He is from the Maryland DC area and has hinted he wants to come home.

And they have been clearing up cap space for him. Signed his high school trainer.

I just didn't mention it because I find the idea of trading him ludicrous. He will either stay in OKC or go to Washington.

if he says he wont return to OKC, do you think they just keep him?

Three years ago, the idea of KD ever leaving OKC was laughable. Now the argument has turned to would they trade him or just let him walk. It's definitely not a no brainer that he stays anymore.

Lakers can send Lottery picks. Hell Lakers have a chance to win the Lottery this year.

Lakers have already traded away at least one if not 2 or 3 future first round picks.

Lakers are in REALLY bad shape going forward. Basically if they don't hit BIG in free agency the next couple of offseasons they could be fricked for a while. They have cap space, but hardly any talent to build around. It's not like they are only 1 or 2 pieces away from being back in the thick of it. They are towards bottom of the league in talent at just about every position. It will be very difficult for them to do what is necessary, and what's necessary is to significantly upgrade every single position. It doesn't matter who you are, that is tough to do in less than 5 years.

Trading the wrong guy.

As well as RW is playing, what's his record during this stretch? They're barely eeking by some of these teams with All-World performances from RW.

Trade RW if you're gonna trade one of them.

So dumb.

Westbrook has and always will be the guy that actually leads this Thunder team. Durant may be the better overall player, but the Thunder go nowhere without Westbrook.

Also KD and Westbrook are like best friends. I'd be shocked if KD stuck around if they traded westbrook.

ETA: Also do people realize that a Jones fracture (the injury KD has battled all season) has ended the careers of quite a few players? Sheed and Yao both had their careers ended because of recurring injuries related to Jones fractures.

Not saying that KD will have his career ended or shortened or anything like that, but it HAS happened in the past.

KD is not going to stick around if Westbrook is traded. He was already bummed enough about the Harden trade.

The only reason people are discussing a trade at all is because if KD just leaves, they don't get value. Trading Westbrook does not help the problem at all. They can afford both players.

The celtics have plenty of assists from the nets to make a stupid offer if they wanted too

Kevin Durant/Steven Adams

For

Jimmy Butler/Joakim Noah/Nikola Mirotic/Picks

That is the best trade I can think of that gets him to the Eastern Conference.

Both teams should still be elite.

So now we're trading Westbrook?

MSB's NBA knowledge has no limits.

There is only one man in the NBA who could get LeBron James to leave his hometown team and family behind for the promise of championship rings.

Durant will bring his talents to South Beach!
