Vick was dreadful tonight and basically handed the Saints the game.
Do you really expect anyone to be good behind that terrible offensive line? They made the Saints defensive line look like world beaters.

I get what you are saying...

But this GAME is on Vick. The Eagles as a team have bigger problems than Vick, but this particular game was on him.

If he doesnt throw that pick 6. Its a DIFFERENT ball game. Everything changes from there. Eagles get some points and you wipe 7 points off the board. If they were a winning team.......mentally they might have been able to overcome it. But once that play happened you could just see the "oh shite here we go again"

With the SEASON and his JOB on the line....thats what he does today?

Dreadful.

Also...there is something to be said about pocket poise.

There were sacks and (the int) for example that could have been avoided.

You're a Broncos fan so you see every game how great Peyton Manning is under pressure. He knows when to dump the ball off, when to throw it away, etc. etc.

The Broncos line isnt GREAT. But Peyton is so surgical that he kept the Saints off balanced. Thats what a good QB does. (Of course I know Peyton is one of the GOATs...but Vick as a 10 year vet still has no pocket poise)

The one that bounced off of Celek's hand? It was very catchable.

Until tonight I was perturbed since the Falcons in their close games have been doing poorly against the run, but the Saints had either not been committed to the run or they just weren't executing running plays well enough.

Tonight the Saints were both committed to the run, and they blocked extremely well.

falcons are way better and should win, but im sure the saints are gonna end up winning just so that we all have to put up with a ton of shite on this board until at least the second meeting. my life is so shitty that one of the main reasons i want the falcons to win is because i want the saints fans on this board to stop talking shite for a couple of weeks.

Jesus, man. Ya'll are undefeated and the Saints are a long shot to make the playoffs. Even if the Saints beat the Falcons this week, it probably means nothing in the grand scheme of the season. At least wait until the Falcons get their shite pushed in during the playoffs before you get all doom and gloom.

The Falcons to the Saints is like Ms State to LSU. It's fitting that these 2 matchups are happening on the same weekend.

Hmm....

Im thinking about raising the stakes.

If the Falcons win....I get to troll the Saints board for a week.

Saints win. I'll ban myself from posting here for a week.

In fact if the Saints win by double figures I'll never post here again.

Like that will ever happen

Hmm...Still need to raise the stakes a bit on what I get or what fans should do if the Falcons win...hmmm....
