Lol, no. I would not be surprised at all to see the Cavs win tonight with Draymond playing. You think LeBron & crew want to lose this IN Cleveland again?

I take it those enraged by this never negotiated anything in their entire lives.
The only thing I find newsworthy is how much negotiating there seems to be. Maybe I'm naïve but I didn't think Cleveland would or should have much input on the leagues decision. I've always assumed the player's team would speak up, but the NBA should issue punishment based on its bylaws. This seems to imply that they were more of a mediator, which is crazy to me.

No, but wants are best tossed in a wishing well.

If wishes were horses, we'd all be eating steak.

What's the issue exactly?
LeBron had an all time great performance and the Cavs won handily. They need something to latch onto until GS wins the series.

LeBron and Co. have watched both the Spurs and the Warriors celebrate titles in Cleveland.
Maybe it's their tradition to be hospitable and be the venue to host the party for their guests?

Can Draymond get suspended again if he happens to pick up a flagrant tonight?
Or does the tally start over from scratch?

On that note, I mentioned this tidbit in another thread:
quote:
LeBatard and Kevin Arnovitz had a good conversation on something that may end up being nothing, but i think it could potentially play a factor.
First, even if it's only 12 minutes of Bogust missing, Draymond is now going to basically be the rim protector for almost the entire game. Draymond seems like a guy that to get the absolute max out of him, he kinda has to be that guy that is on the edge, kinda dirty, always teetering between over the line and not. Can he be full Draymond if he has to scale that part of him back a bit? Maybe, and probably. But I can also see him being a bit too timid trying to protect the rim or just in general because he can't be playing on the edge because if he gets another flagrant in game 6, he knows he has to sit out game 7.

That must explain Draymond looking disengaged in Game 4 against OKC.

He displayed a similar wavering demeanor during the very next game after the whole Stephen Adams/Kick fiasco.

Actually the only time a LeBron-led team has lost an elimination game at home has been during the Finals. 2007 vs. SAS, 2011 vs. DAL, and 2015 vs. GS.
