I honestly think it would be great for the game if the Finals MVP didn't have to come from a winning team. It would really give history the context it deserves.

I'd like to think so, but I've got to see it to believe it if they lose the series. I know it happened with West, so we'll see, but hopefully it will be a moot point and they pull it off Sunday.

win or lose he should be Finals MVP

but if someone goes for 50 in gm 7 for the Warriors it could be that person too. No guarantee

Officially? Probably no chance.

But 100% of us know he is the MVP, best player in the series, or whatever you want to call it.

I really doubt he'll get MVP if they lose. That said he has been, without a doubt, the best player in the series.

What makes you think this? Who on the Warriors has had a great series like Bron Bron?

Yes but there is NO WAY they give it to him. Just think of how weird the ceremony would be

Exactly. Your team just lost but here's a consolation prize? It won't happen. MVP will come from winning team.

Doubt there would be a on court ceremony. It would be handled on camera in the back IMO

I think he wins it period unless someone just goes off in game 7. I can't think of a Warrior who has earned it through 6 games

I can see it now. Curry goes to raise the championship trophy and Lebron swats it in to the stands.

He has been the best player of the series, easily. If he plays like he has the last 4 and they lose a close one, I think he should get it. If they get blown out and Curry goes off, I think he will get it. He has had some down games but his numbers are still solid and winning game 7 matters.

Lebron has been the best player and it's not even close. Only Jordan and Shaq in my lifetime have dominated a Finals the way he is right now.
