Yawkey wasn't just a racist, he was a terrible owner. His racism hurt the Red Sox by keeping them from signing talent that would help the team win, and instead get passed by the other teams in the division who were willing to sign the best players.
He shouldn't get a road named after him on the grounds that he sucked.

they should rename it on the sole basis that it almost looks like 'yankee.' now that's offensive.
