Recap from Louisiana Tech's Pro Day

Defensive tackle Vernon Butler -- 6-foot-3 7/8, 327 pounds -- ran the 40-yard dash in 5.15 seconds with the wind and 5.21 seconds against the wind. He had a 33 1/2-inch vertical jump and a 9-foot-3 broad jump. The defensive line coaches from the Jets and Lions put Butler through his workout, in which he showed excellent movement and quickness. Butler had dinner with the Seattle Seahawks on Monday night, will work out for the Tennessee Titans on Wednesday, and already had workouts for the Carolina Panthers and New England Patriots.
Running back Kenneth Dixon -- 5-10 1/2, 222 -- stood on his numbers from the NFL Scouting Combine. He was able to do some of the drills, but was hampered by a right hamstring issue. Still, he looked really good catching the ball.
Quarterback Jeff Driskel -- 6-4 1/4, 236 -- also stood on his combine numbers. Despite it being very hard to accurately throw the football in the windy conditions, Driskel had a good workout.
Cornerback Adairius Barnes -- 5-10 3/4, 179 -- ran the 40 in 4.53 seconds with the wind and 4.57 seconds against the wind. He had a 41 1/2-inch vertical jump and 10-foot-6 broad jump. He did the 20-yard short shuttle in 4.08 seconds and the three-cone drill in 6.79 seconds. He had 14 reps of 225 pounds on the bench press. Barnes looked good and very smooth in his positional workout. He might have worked his way into being a priority free-agent pickup possibility for a team following the draft.
Safety Kentrell Brice -- 5-11 1/2, 206 -- ran the 40 in 4.37 seconds with the wind and 4.46 seconds against the wind. He had a 42-inch vertical and 11-foot-1 broad jump. He did the short shuttle in 4.4 seconds and the three-cone drill in 7.62 seconds. He performed 21 reps on the bench. Brice is a rookie free-agent pickup possibility.

could be a real steal in this draft

he's going to go in the first 2 rounds, so not sure how much a steal he can be. Good little player. Though it looks like he has added a bunch of weight post season
