I was listening to Greg and ND on 790am a little while ago here in Houston, and some athlete or something they were interviewing said that he is disappointed that Jordan didn't "pick a side".
He was saying basically that blacks are arrested disproportionately, shot by police disproportionately, etc... and that he "needs" someone like Jordan to come out and not be politically correct by playing both sides and come out on the side of black people because there is a systemic problem with racism in the justice system that is run by the people in power... white people. And white people hold others down because they want to remain in power.
I was fricking disgusted listening to that shite and it's a sorry state of affairs that this seems to be a popular opinion among black people.

I hate to further this thread but I'm confused, how could he donate to BLM? I've heard a shitload of people say that it isn't an organization?

Who's the president/leader? Where's the headquarters? Where would one send their donation to BLM? I don't know or think they have any of those to donate to.

How do you donate money to a hashtag? There's not exactly a BLM president/headquarters/division to take in donations.

Send a check to Gary Chambers, he will make sure it reaches the proper hands

I found it telling that someone as liberal as Plaschke didn't even agree with KB on that. That tells me that his stance on it is totally ridiculous.
And IMO it seems like Jordan donated the money to two of the most worthy things related to the issues lately. Him throwing money at BLM (if an actual organization even legally exists) would be stupid and irresponsible. All in all, it seems like Jordan's donations were fairly reasonable.

I guess these guys will gladly take it.

No ESPN then the SEC wouldn't be as big as it is. Take the good with the bad.

at one time I enjoyed around the horn and the show with Dan and his papi and PTI
but I can't watch either around the horn or the lebatard thing anymore. round the horn has been ruined by the lesbians and pablo torre- period. Never been a huge blackistone fan cause he never really says anything
still watch PTI only if Kornhole and Wilbon are on. I know what Im getting from them, at least it's what THEY believe and not what the network is pushing on them
but they are rarely on together other than football season so watch that rarely too. Pablo torre and the lesbian who looks like a man are two of the worst things ESPN has ever unleashed on the public
