Spieth is lighting it up today. -6 on his round gets him back to -3 for the tournament, just 4 off the lead.

I can't believe he's playing. I know I wouldn't.

I watched him finish yesterday and I was thinking, I bet he wished he wasn't there. .......but today he seems a little more focused.

Reed on the other will likely miss the cut.

Yea I think its pretty understandable for him to play poorly yesterday. He's -7 though now on his round. Not sure what the course record is.

Did anyone see the stat from yesterday that only 3 golfers missed the fairway on 18? (Reed was one of them)

He is only 1 off the cut line now with 4 to play. Birdied his last hole.

Just realized that Tom Watson is in the field.....how did that happen? do they have a past winner exemption?

Wow, his Masters hangover lasted exactly 18 holes. Very impressive.

Can we all agree Tom Watson has replaced Gary Player as the iron man of professional golf?

He's honoring a commitment. A few years ago when he didn't have any status they gave him a sponsors exemption into the tournament. One could say this is his way of repaying the favor.

I figured that had to be it. Still, he has to be exhausted mentally...

And he's got 72 yards left for his 2nd shot to the 9th.

I saw an interview on TGC last night. He got an exemption where he didn't have to play in pro am Wednesday and he said that helped. But yea, I'm sure it was difficult to focus yesterday.
