He usually sucks against the Rangers..so I'm not worried about scoring.

I am however worried that Holland will get crushed by the Angels line up.

Nothing like the Rangers inability to hit with runners in scoring position. Mike Young is a clutch hitter, but he has struggled with RISP this year.

I got a great feeling about tomorrow. Lackey is a BIG GAME pitcher and likely realizes what tomorrow means for the Angels.

Probably means that there's no chance the Rangers can catch the Angels 5.5 games back.

Angels fans never take a late season AL West lead for granted. Not after 1995. We were up by 11 games on Seattle and choked the division away in a one game playoff.

We need to crush the Rangers today and bury their hopes for a pennant.

Derek Holland is straight dealin' right now. He's only thrown 37 pitches through 4 innings.

Rangers are up 2-0 on a lapse of concentration in right by Bobby Abreu on a routine warning track fly.

This is huge if they can hold on.

Now you see why the Rangers don't have Halladay. They didn't want to give up Holland. He could be a great one.

Well, it lloks like the race is still on. If only the Rangers could play the A's the way they play the Angels.

Too true. At the worst, I would love for Boston to lose tonight to tie up the wild card. At best, Rangers need to go on a run and make this division race closer.

Great game today by the Rangers!!! Holland was GREAT!! +3.5 and possibly in contention for the Wild Card to come out the West!!

I will try to take a look at the remaining schedule and do an analysis on the rest of the season.

Great series, frick!!

It would be cool if the Angels and the Rangers both make the postseason, ending the AL East hammerlock on the wild card.

Hey Dean, is John Lackey always that emotional? I'm a die hard Ranger fan, and usually watch his starts vs. them, but I don't think I ever seen Lackey that upset after the Abreau drop or that ball Murphy hit in center, is he mad at himself or his defense? I don't watch him as often as you, so i was just wondering

He is always emotional, especially in a big game like today. Regarding who Lackey was mad at...I would guess just mad overall...possibly pissed at Abreu some.
