The Oregon State thread had me look at Pac 12 standings and I saw USC is ranked

Looking at his first two years it seems to be a miracle he kept his job, and now they are in 2nd place in the league.

I'll admit I know nothing about USC basketball so maybe some of their fans can chime in if any post here. Good coach? Bad coach? What is the deal with this Trojan squad?

He took over a complete trainwreck. USC didn't have the talent to compete with a top high school team. I was a doubter, but I've been converted. He coaches a system extremely well and USC is actually fun to watch for the first time I can remember.

Good for you guys

I liked the guy when he was having his tourney magic a couple years back. I just remember people saying how much he sucked and was overrated the last 2 years. I looked at the standings for the first time a minute ago and saw they are ranked. Surprised me.

He's a good recruiter. That's good enough for USC.

He sucks as a coach. Delon Wright said they ran the same play over and over against USC last year and they never stopped it.

He's a bad in game coach, but very good at player development and coaching a system

What was USC's home arena before the Galen Center?

Just curious, what makes him a bad in game coach? As a WVU fan, I love that we have Huggins, he is a great in game coach and great at developing players, but the man can't find a system to stick to.

This year, SC has blown 15-20 point leads in the second half multiple times because he got way too conservative too soon. Takes timeouts at weird times. Doesn't manage the clock well.

I'll never figure out why you guys are so hard on Les.

Trade Les and Jones for Dana and Huggy?

Was coming to post pics. Have an upvote for your troubles.

Enfield actually has a really interesting life story. Was part of a very successful tech startup before getting back into the coaching game. Pretty sure he was very well of before he ever got his first D1 head coaching gig.
