Pro football is just about unwatchable with the penalties

Complete bullshite call for unnecessary roughness called against Eric Reid in Seattle game.

Two times on the same drive

It was a good call, but he couldn't have really avoided it. He drilled the guy right in the head.

I was like eh I'm bored, so I turned on the SF/Seattle game
Two 15 yard penalties in like 3 minutes and I turned it off
lolnfl. it's amazing to me that so many people watch that garbage.

The first one I can understand as he was out of bounds
The second call was absolute shite. The receiver caught the ball, took two steps and lowered his head causing Reid's text book hit to look bad. And quite honestly, even after the receiver lowered his head, the hit still wasn't bad.
You can't blame the refs though. Blame the players (both past and present) who complained, bitched and moaned and sued the NFL for injuries. This defenseless receiver horse shite is the NFL's reaction to the bull shite lawsuits from NFL players.

His feet hadn't touched the ground yet

First one was correct. The second one was the one I was talking about.

Fantasy football has made the NFL. People are addicted. Drug addicts will do whatever they can get their hands on.

His body was clearly over the line between field of play and out of bounds. There was zero chance of him cutting back. I can understand the call.

My interest has dropped so low I couldn't even tell you who was having a good season outside of guys on my fantasy team
NBA > NFL

No, it really wasn't. Guy catches it, takes 2 steps, and ducks down. When he comes back over the middle and Reid blows his knee out McGahee style, don't cry.

I can't imagine just sitting down and watching an entire regular season game without gambling/fantasy

Players in a defenseless posture are:
A receiver attempting to catch a pass; or who has completed a catch and has not had time to protect himself or has not clearly become a runner. If the receiver/runner is capable of avoiding or warding off the impending contact of an opponent, he is no longer a defenseless player;

I have no concept of how they can just sit there and watch that shite for hours and hours straight.
I start going crazy from all the commercials after about 30 minutes.

The irony here is that Reid hit him high strictly because the receiver acted defensively by ducking his head and shoulder to absorb the hit.
Defending yourself makes you defenseless. Receivers check your privilege.
