Before the season kicked off, if you knew Texas was going to beat Oklahoma and Baylor this season, how many games do you think they would have won?

10?
11?
5?

Probably 8 or 9.

They really should have for sure won 7 if it weren't for some crazy special teams mishaps iirc.

If I told you before the season Texas would be shut out by Iowa State, yes, Iowa State, you would predict zero wins.

Talk about a roller coaster of a season.

They start out by getting destroyed at Notre Dame:
Texas - 3 Notre Dame - 38

They regroup and beat a bad Rice team:
Texas - 42 Rice - 28

They then lose two heartbreakers in a row:
Texas - 44 Cal - 45
Texas - 27 Oklahoma State - 30

No heartbreaker the next week as TCU treats Texas like they're a FCS school:
Texas - 7 TCU - 50

Texas just lost by 43 to TCU...all hope is lost. The season is over. Wait...W...T...F...Texas is feeling pretty damn good after "ruining" Oklahoma's season ( ). Time to regroup and focus on K-State. Snyder is a legend.
Texas - 24 Oklahoma - 17

Holy shite. Two wins in a row with Iowa State coming up. Texas is back in the saddle!
Texas - 23 Kansas State - 9.

W.........T..........F...........
Texas - 0 Iowa State - 24

Winless Kansas won't log their first win against Texas
Texas - 59 Kansas - 20

arse. Kicked.
Texas - 20 West Virginia - 38

Kliff is too cool and leaves Austin with his guns up.
Texas - 45 Texas Tech - 48

It took a 4th string, WR playing Quarterback for Baylor (which they almost came back and won)...Texas held on more so than they won.
Texas - 23 Baylor - 17

It was more like the 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th QB's since we used 2 RB's and 2 WR's to take snaps in the second half.

And the horns felt so good about the "arse kicking" they were talking shite.

Yeah, Texas had as big of an up and down season as I can remember a team ever having.

Beat playoff team Oklahoma
Shut out by awful Iowa State
Blow out Kansas State
Beat Baylor on the road
