Ditto except i think they beat UCLA
They will come in Fired up and Start 4-0 then lose to Baylor. All this weeding out the bad apples will hurt their depth

I think strong went 7-6 in his first season at Louisville and you can expect something similar at Texas. Even though Texas has more talent left for Strong than the post-Petrino Cards did, it's going to be a tough year unless Heard or Ash can step up and be great. A lot of questions on the O-line. Running backs should be solid and I believe the D-line and Linebackers will be great. Secondary will be above average. Wide receivers should be fairly decent. Huge ?s at OL and QB will always cause a team to struggle though.

I don't believe in K-State anymore and Texas will have enough continuity by the Texas Tech game to win. 8-4 losses to UCLA, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Baylor

My prediction model has them:

North Texas 77.4% W 30-10
BYU 58% W 30-23
vs. UCLA 42.2% L 25-32
@ Kansas 78.2% W 31-10
Baylor 45.5% L 35-36
vs. Oklahoma 34.9% L 22-29
Iowa State 78.2% W 39-17
@ Kansas State 32.3% L 24-34
@ Texas Tech 57.4% W 31-27
West Virginia 75.9% W 37-16
@ Oklahoma State 31.5% L 22-33
TCU 52.9% W 25-20

7-5, 5-4 Big 12

9-3. I think they start 3-3 and then get it rolling. Say what you want about Strong but the man can coach some ball. I think they will keep getting better as the season progresses

I predict he never does better than 2-3 losses. Strong is not at Louisville anymore, a whole lot bigger light on him now. He was in a very weak conference, his coaching style will also rub many big boosters the wrong way and possibly the kids. Mac had the AD in his pocket and was liked by the alumni. I just don't think Strong has that kind or personality. If that is the case; like Saban, you better win. He is not that good a coach or recruiter.

7-5/6-6/5-7

So.. 6-6. Will win one of TTech/TCU and lose the other while also losing the others you mentioned.
