Was wondering myself. The first Preakness thread is down to about page 3 now.

Doesn't look like much money to be made on this race. I think the top two Derby finishers will probably finish that same again.

I've watched his 3 races multiple times and still don't know what I'm going to do with him.

I do like collected a bit.

I'm sticking with my girl Maggie. She ran pretty well in the oaks.

If Nyquist gets the early lead, I mean out front, I don't know if he'll get passed. My "concern", as I said in my post on the old thread is that if one or two of these longshot front runners try to get out front and set a very fast early pace. If Nyquist goes with, he may not have enough at the end to hold off a late runner. If he sits just off the pace, how will he react to the mud thrown in his face for the whole race? Like I said, I always feel like on a sloppy course, you have to go with the horse that will get out to the lead early or a late runner that will stay back and out of the flying mud for the route. Exaggerator has that ability. Throw in a wild card? Cherry Wine sneaking in to the money.

I am going to put some coin on Stradivari to win...
Also place a bet on Nyquist and exaggerator to win...

Probably $20 on Stradivari, $50 on exaggerator and $100 on Nyquist..

Will have multiple trifecta and exacta bets, both straight and boxed...

Will also wheel a few bets too...

Won't lay as much as I did for the derby but will probably have around $200 out there.

Nyquist seems like the smart bet... But with track conditions and the addition of Stradivari in the field (and Collected) I am a little bit confused

Stradivari by my proprietary rating system, but I'm wary of betting TC races. Too much uncertainty.

That is sad. I Gr I winner deserves a better fate than to be running at 9.

I mean, if they are running at the same level (ben's cat, musketier) I'm fine with it. When they start dropping in class it is time to retire. They've earned it.

His jockey is the reason I won't bet him and cheer against him every time

Also, you realize this race is the shortest of the 3 classics, right?
