If this was in another thread, I apologize in advance.

I was really hoping for a Cavs win. That said, I was impressed with Steph and Green for hanging around on the court and congratulating the Cavs. It's got to be hard to do that.

Both showed a ton of class by staying around... It may not have been a great series with all the blowouts but last night was a perfect storm for a game 7 winner take ALL game,,,,, Curry knows he had a shitty series... But I give most of that to the Cavs defense......

I watched a lot of post game interviews from both winners and losers last night. I hope Cam Newton did the same. POS.

IMO, standard post-game etiquette kind of goes out the window in a championship/rushing the court situation. It's kind of hard to know how to best handle it as the loser.

Good for Curry and Green for sticking around, but I wouldn't hold it against anybody who bailed.

Hockey does it well.

That's a catch 22 honestly. Stick around, be a good sport, but this is their moment, let them enjoy it. There's plenty of time after the game to offer congratulations. Leave the court, and people think you're pouting.

Peyton got a lot of grief about that after SB44. Said he didn't want to take away from New Orleans moment, didn't want it to be about the hometown boy losing to the hometown team. But of course, he still got shite for it.

That was really cool as was Kerr's postgame press conference.

I hope this puts them back in people's good graces again. Really sucked when everyone was hating Steph and GS the last couple of weeks. I'm a Laker fan so I have no Allegiance to them. But I definitely will have a special spot saved for them in my fandom.

Yeah, I never hated them. I even said I loved Green's ability, just not the dirty stuff. That's really my only beef.

Pleasantly surprised to see Green congratulate them.

They do.

Ya, I can see it both ways. From my perspective, I don't think Steph and Draymond hanging around took anything away.

I questioned the genuineness of his statement. Of course I don't know for sure, but it sounded like something he might have thought up after the fact.

I don't really believe in sportsmanship in the playoffs. If they don't want to congratulate the cavs, I wouldn't hold it against them.

I don't either. I'm just impressed with the guys who do it.
