I 've never been. Does the GA seating fill up? If they do, how early do you have to line up to get a seat?

Never been to the new stadium, but you had to be out there hours in advance at the old Rosenblatt

Don't ever worry about tickets trust me. I've been 3 times. Spent a grand on flight & hotel every single time but never more than 10-15 for a ticket even for the biggest games.
There is a line for GA and it will sell out but even so scalped will be everywhere selling grandstand tickets.

At the old blatt tickets were very easy to come by outside of the stadium as long as LSU or Texas isn't playing.

This is correct,
I bought the GA package and was able to get into any game I wanted. When LSU played I just upgrade my GA tickets to reserved seats the morning of the game.

just buy tickets off of the ticketmaster ticket exchange. i got tickets everyday behind home plate for the lsu/texas final in 09

I went to Omaha last year. I got into any game I wanted for lesa than 15 bucks. You will have to scalp a little before the game but its 100%. I was under the grandstand for every single game without an advance ticket
