the only time this game has had two ranked teams was in 2008 with #9 Boise State vs #11 TCU.
there have been just 4 other ranked teams to play in it. 2006 TCU #24/25, 2009 Utah #23/24, 2011 TCU #15/16, and 2013 NIU #23/24.
