I'm going there next month. Playing #2, 6, 7 and 8. Has anyone played out there? What did you think?

Area is gorgeous.
They have medical facilities in that little town, military sent me down there for my wisdom teeth out. Thank you for your tax dollar being spent on those very overpriced facilities.

Awesome place. I hope you're staying at the Pinehurst Hotel. Go into the village and drink at some of the pubs.

Sweet place. Got to play there in eight after the stock market crash. They were giving it away and it was empty. We played those plus number five dinner every night breakfast every morning and a spa for around 800. Would like to see the new redesign of number two but the rest of the experience is fantastic. Have some great memorabilia in the town and the gin and tonic's at the Holly hotel bar are fantastic

I live in the area....you have chosen the best of the resort courses to play, along with #4. Let me know if you would like restaurant recommendations etc

I asked because I thought it strange that they couldn't remove them at the base. Do they not have a dental clinic?

They do, but manning and provider availability dictate whether they can do it for you or send you to a civilian facility. Guess they were short when I came in

Thanks, I appreciate that. It's kind of a "work" thing, so I don't think I'll have a lot of free time to go out on my own. We are staying at the Carolina Hotel.

I understand. I played number 4 last week...everything was perfect. Enjoy your time here! One more thing...it's pretty slow paced and golf centric so prepare yourself for that environment.
