It's not quite ready yet but it's going be awesome. 100,000 sq. ft. and will be used by all the athletes for the Flagship University of Louisiana and will house the football coaches.

The new locker room is going to be sweet.

The auditorium is able to be split into two meeting rooms, it's double tiered and the players will be able to interact with their tablets.

In addition to the main meeting room, each position group will have their own rooms. QB, RBS, WRS, etc.

>

The new weight room is more than double the size of the old one.

Custom built therapy pool that designed to fit the entire team

Submersion therapy tub with a lift system and treadmill built in

Don't worry, there will be a lot more to come when more tours are completed. The teams plan to move into the building during the bye week after this week's game. Hopefully all this rain doesn't slow down more immediate progress.

Looks awesome, glad to see the new facilities going up at UL-L and LaTech. I'd like to a lot of these 3-star prospects start choosing these two Louisiana universities instead of Moo State and Ole Miss.

Yeah, La Tech and the Cajuns are really beginning to push each other in a G5 arms race which is great for both schools because we both have a history of administration making empty promises. Both teams opening up a new facility is going to make sure neither athletic dept gets complacent.

So now ULL will suck with a nice locker room instead of sucking with a crappy locker room.

Are you scared as a G5 fan that the P5 breaking away will cripple you? I'm interested to see in that scenario what happens to the G5 and the top of FCS.

I think a lot of small schools will be really left behind. We're actually paying the full cost of attendance stipend to all of our athletes, and a lot of schools like ULM probably can't afford to do so, so I think that'll allow us to stick around for longer and maybe get some fringe P5 guys.

Yeah this will help all sports but especially football. Hudspeth has been getting really good athletes with the promise of this thing coming soon. When he's actually able to show them around it will be a huge boost for us.
