Don't like Peyton Manning for that reason. If you watch the games, he does that consistently and who the hell yells at him when he makes mistakes and he makes plenty of them. Does a lineman yell at him for throwing an int or for being too slow to evade a defender because he is slow? Don't think so. He's an arse.

All strong qbs do that. Aikman used berate his players if they were not playing well. There was no question who was in charge on offense. Its called being a winner.

Marino was one of the best at undressing his lineman.

I guess I just don't like it when I see QBs berating their fellow players. I completely understand firing them up to play better and talking with them on the sidelines but I just don't like watching a QB yell at another player like that on the field. That player is probably trying like hell to do his job and knows he's going to get yelled at by the coaches anyway if he misses his blocks. As good as Manning is, there's just something about the guy that rubs me the wrong way when watching him play.

On NFLN last night they had a little segment showing Peyton chewing the frick out of his offensive line and then I think it was a DLinemen that came up to him and told him to go sit his arse down

Notice Brown immediately pulls off his block and holds up his hand like "what I'd do?"

My favorite part was when Saturday was saying they needed to run the ball more, Manning ran right up to all the lineman, and said "Jeff, your a frickin center"

It was Tarik Glenn, long time O-tackle for them. Saturday, Glenn, Manning were teammates from like 99-06.

All great players do this. You will see great MLB chew out other defenders for missed assignments all the time. They're all working toward the same goal. Also an arse chewing from your fellow teammate can mean more to a player than one from one of his coaches.

And like Manning said in that video, it's not like they're doing it in the post game PC. They handle their business on the field and keep it in house.
