Skip and Stephen on First Take were just louding how much better Tom is verses Peyton, 11-5 h2h. Is that really a fair comparison? Tom has had the best HC in all of the NFL during his career. Tom has had as result better defenses getting his back. In general Tom has played on better teams because the Patriots made good personnel moves. This year is a good comparison but Peyton is clearly past his prime.

Thats how sports works. If you win, youre better and your team is better.

Head to head records for QBs are awful, but people like talking about them.

What if no tuck rule, and if Vinetari didn't have balls of steel?

Brady gets credit for all of those wins, while Manning takes blame for Vanderjagt missing a last second field goal and the Denver defense meltdown vs Baltimore in 2013.

The thing about Brady is that he didn't need to bend the rules to be competitive like ManninHgH.

There is a Brady scandal that lets the air out of your argument.

He didn't need to bend the rules, he just took the air out of it.

Only idiots would compare QBs based on head to head records

Peyton Manning vs Brady is pretty meaningless imo. Drew Brees is a much better QB than both of them and Peyton isn't even the best QB in his family. Brady beats the Shite out of Peyton but you really don't know how many of his accomplishments are actually legit. He's kind of like the Barry Bonds of the NFL.

I'll post it when I get home, but the closest thing you can get to a good comparison is breaking it up between dome and outside.

This is the problem. One great pass from Eli to Manningham and a drop from Welker here, one frankly borderline impossible play against a ball of famer by an also ran in Tyree and he could be 6 and 0 in the SB.

It's a shame both of them can't lose on Sunday. Both Legends, but Tom's fake tough guy act is old and I like Peyton, but being surrounded by Broncos fans here in the Midwest is unbearable.

You actually just made the guys point even stronger BTW. Both wins and losses are a stupid way to judge QBs

Face the facts. Manning isn't in the same league as Brady

Yeah, rings don't lie. Trent Dilfer > Dan Marino.

The patriots in the earlier 2000s were just better than those Colts teams. Several of those games Tom had to be a game-manager
