Manning needs to retire. He already has locked up his place in the top tier of qbs and now is just fighting with Brady for 2nd GOAT (Johnny Unitas is the GOAT),but he can't top Brady in SB rings and he doesn't need to. Favre made the mistake of trying to come back one too many times and it did not end well for him. Manning should just ride off into the sunset as a Super Bowl champion.

What Colt or Bronco "out-elites" Gronkowski?

Well, there is this one guy named Marvin Harrison who just got elected to the HOF. There was this other guy named Reggie Wayne who might also make the HOF.

An Alabama Patriot fan is way worse than an Auburn Panther fan. By far.

Whoa now...they've been pretty wrong/obnoxious in this thread, but they've got a long, LONG way to go if they want to catch the Auburn Camther crowd.

It was pretty great to see both groups get humbled at one time, though.

You really embarrassed yourself in this thread. That's not surprising though given your track record on this site...

Smart move by Manning. Now he doesn't have to answer any questions about the Tennessee issue.

Wife decorate that room or did you? Decorations in a house say a lot about a man.

retire or keep playing, somewhere—by the March 9 deadline for guaranteeing the $19 million salary with Denver in 2016

What happens if Manning decides after March 9th to not play next next year? Does Denver still have to pay his salary? If so, why wouldn't he wait to announce his retirement after March 9th besides the moral/ethical reason (Morals/ethics + NFL? Lulz.)?

Pretty sure if he retires in all but a very few circumstances the team is no longer responsible to pay him the remainder of his contract
