Yeah, but wouldn't they see this while they were being recruited by the school? They must have been dishonest with him about something big.

The same thing happened with South Carolina and Bobby Cremins. He got to Columbia and left to go back to Georgia Tech. Worst thing is South Carolina was his alma mater.

UMass can be a good job. Calipari had success at UMass and then went NBA, but he landed all right with Memphis and Kentucky. At on level UMass is a better job than Winthrop. Must be something that spooked him.

I dont think yall realize how shitty UMass athletics is right now. They have no rich alumni base and rely on public money in a totally liberal state that gives no shite about sports (other than the pro teams).

They are in debt, and facilities upgrades will never ever happen. UMass athletics is in a free fall.
