The smartest man in the room who keeps doing dumb stuff. At least Enfield is starting to work this year.

Too bad he was allowed to make one more hire before leaving.

Choir boy stunk.

This is USC. 99% chance Nikias hires internally.

seems like this has been in the works, why did they let him make the football hire?

I'd like to take this moment to thank Pat Haden for everything he has done for the UW football program.

that dude was a disaster as AD. But all the talking heads in the media said that he was a slam dunk hire and would restore USC to greatness. WTF happened?

I wouldn't be surprised if he actually didn't have much input. There were rumors that the coaching decision was made by the university president who wanted someone who he knew wouldn't be a complete embarrassment even if it meant hiring a scrub like Helton.

I would be shocked if the new AD isn't Steve Lopes, who is the current Associate AD

His Andy Enfield gamble is looking good right now though at the very least.

I'd also like to thank him for not wanting Orgeron for HC.

That guy looked like a disaster a year ago.

Had no idea USC was ranked. (for the first times since 2008)

Rumor has it he's been fired for a while, but he was allowed to make a graceful exit.
