At what point do the feds start digging into this mess? If they aren't already, they should be.

Gotta be Ray Rice camp releasing all this info. He is pissed how he got fricked over after being truthful.

I dont understand this attitude. No matter what goes on with Goodell, Rice deserves to be in prison much less suspended

Huh? So now goodell is offerin up an owner?

This is the worst case for the NFL

Also showing favoritism to the ravens with how they handled bountygate? They have an on the field integrity problem

Oh that and they bribed rice and may have obstructed justice

But hey who are you going to believe?

Not only is goodell fricked

So is the NFL

The shield is damaged

frick them

He's right. The ravens injected themselves into the legal process?

That's obstruction padna

But yes, Florio is lame and the injury report is still his top story

He's running late to this party, but unlike cocksucker king, he'll come around

I'll believe it when I see this sentiment expressed in the ratings. Until then it's a bunch of bluster.

Everyone's talking big during the week. On Sunday they're tuning in like everyone else.

Goodell's options

Serve up the ravens and admit he showed leniency for some gross reasons (thus admitting he ran a PR campaign to make a victim of domestic violence look culpable) and that he could have indeed had the tape and had a reason not to seek it AND that ray rice's story was indeed the same on tape (not what he's said)

Or

Continue to lie and just leave another loose end for some pissed off media members

Last night's game didn't hit the 10 million mark.

quote:

Preliminary ratings are down 40 percent from last week, with CBS and the NFL Net averaging a 3.3 rating among adults 18-49 in fast national returns. Last week's game, which averaged an early 5.5 rating, went up to a 7.5 in the key demo once time zone adjustments were made.

Interest in the matchup was clearly already low, as pre-game coverage was also down 34 percent from comparable preliminary numbers last week. That coverage did take on the ongoing public debate over domestic abuse among NFL players and the league's handling of it.

1. Feds are going to look into a tax exempt group with protection from the FCC to boot obstructed the legal process. Yikes

2. Janay is about to hit the NFL with a wonderful lawsuit.

3. Ray rice already has filed an unfair labor practices suit and will win and now has cause to let the dirt out. Huge victory for the NFLPA coming and the league office will look like shite in the process

4. Oh and the whole, this is awful, sponsors, etc

Goodell and staff are gone and biscotti is in some serious legal doo doo

If the other owners didn't know about this until now, goodell is 100% fricked

It was a record-breaking shitty game. Think ratings will be low for Denver/Seattle?

As far as this thread being 30 pages.. i don't think it'll happen quickly. Most people here won't read a big article (although they should), I bet if you could sum that whole article up in 140 characters put in quotes with an "@" at the beginning this thread would blow up with " " and " "

Over-dramatic, much?

Did the Ravens hide/destroy evidence? Prevent police or district attorney's office staff from doing their jobs or investigating the case?

Lobbying the DAO on behalf of Rice is just your normal behind doors municipal politics. It's not obstruction.

Give it time. Hopefully the media will do their job. There's blood in the water, perhaps more so after his arrogant press conference
