OSU about to go on a run similar to FSU's

This is probably an obvious observation, but there is very little in the way of stopping Ohio State from winning the Big Ten virtually every year. Their schedule is comprised of only one or two tough games every year, they recruit the state of Ohio - one of the most talent rich states in the country - with virtual impunity and still have enough prestige to take blue chip players from the South. Add in the fact that they have a future member of the College Football Hall of Fame as their head coach and you have all the proper ingredients for a run of historic proportions.

Urby made a good decision to fake health issues and ditch UF. He now has top tier talent in a stink arse conference that he can beat up on at will. So he can have his guys ready to go for the two tests at the end of the season.

Okay Alex jones, if you are going to post some conspiracy crap, back it up.

Maybe. But that FSU run under Bowden was the GOAT.

It really doesn't matter. He can reap a the benefits of only having to play 2 games all season, compete for championships every year and win an occasional title. But he still has to live in Ohio. With Ohioans. Me > Corch My

I disagree completely. I think the B1G is in the beginning of a rebirth. Ohio State and Michigan State are in great positions moving into the future. Michigan, Penn State, Nebraska, Wisconsin and even Minnesota are all moving in positive direction. The B1G is the healthiest it has been since the mid 2000's. The B1G just had a great bowl season and is trending upward. Ohio State's competition is getting tougher not weaker.

I've been there and thru there many times. And every other corner of that bland arse state. Luckily it wasn't while any rivers were on fire.

OSU normally schedules at least one hard OOC game a year. MSU has been very good the past 5 years. Michigan has been awful but will likely be getting better as much as I have loved their pain and suffering. Penn State is going to be good again, maybe as soon as this year. Wisconsin and Nebraska will be good/very good most years, with other schools like Minny/Iowa being good 2 times a decade
It is not the SECw, but the B1G East is in a position to be one of the better division in cfb, with maybe the best coaching in the country.
But I still hope OSU goes on that run you talked about

I agree with one part and disagree with another. First the SECw isnt the best division in college football. That belongs to the PAC12 South. So that i disagree with. What i do agree with is that the B1G East could very easily become one of the toughest divisions in college football.

Ohio State is recruiting far and above anyone else in the Big Ten. The only team who will be able to consistently rival you in recruiting is Michigan. Penn State and Michigan State will always be threats, but I think you will be able to out talent them and anyone else in the Big Ten.
Alabama is in a similar situation in the SEC but the difference is the SEC recruits football players much better than the Big Ten does. Ole Miss, Auburn, and LSU will always be challenges as long as their respective coaches remain at the schools.

I guess your definition of "hard OOC game" is different than mine. Just because it is an FBS opponent, doesn't make it a hard game.
