Uhhhh, yeah, it was obvious with all of that WCC stiff competition Gonzaga thrashed, huh? Not to mention their DAUNTING tourney run of a 16-seed, an 8-seed that they barely escaped by on controversial officiating, 4-seed, and a whopping 11-seed. That's why Oregon with only 5 losses was a 3 seed, huh? Oregon scraped by Rhode Island (11-seed) AND Michigan (7-seed).

Great run by both teams, but lets not make this seem like its so obvious. As I've said before, UNC has the same core of guys that had the national title game run last season...and lost by a last second shot. None of the teams in it have even remotely the same experience. UNC is also probably the most talented team remaining.

Scraped by, huh? Oregon was in control of the UM game for much of the game. UNC paid for their game with Arkansas.

Since when did Clemson fans become UNC/Duke fans in March? SEC SEC SEC...wait ACC ACC ACC

I'm gonna be so pissed if UNC wins it all this year. They're not even that good so that would make this the weakest tourney field in a long time and it would mean Arkansas screwed up a golden opportunity to make a deep run. The UNC team from 08 would beat this UNC team by 25 points easily.

So you're saying it's already a "weak" year? UNC is the best team remaining. You really think if Gonzaga wins it, that would make it a "decent" year?

Or, is the most plausible explanation: you're a pissed off unrealistic razorback fan that believes your 8 seeded razorbacks were a better team than the 1 seeded UNC team?

Have you even glanced at the Gonzaga Northwestern game?

If you want this year to look as strong of a field as possible, then the best team will win and that is UNC.

No reason to act like you're the only individual that thinks this.

Oregon is not a particularly deep team, but they are supremely-talented with a wealth of experience in their rotation. There is a reason they started off the season No. 5 and ended in the Top-10.

Dana Altman was fortunate that Payton Pritchard decided to stay home and flipped from Oklahoma. Pritchard has hit that "freshman wall," in terms of scoring the ball, but he's been giving the Ducks solid production all year.

This is unfair to Michigan.

It was a one-point defeat that came down to the final shot. The largest-deficit was six points, which lasted about 30 seconds. In all, there were eight ties and sixteen lead-changes.

My SO's calling it, she has USCe winning the whole thing.

She calls it on the basis that this is God punishing Dylan Roof for his attack on the SC church.

When I noticed that the baseball (Coastal Carolina) and football (Clemson) champions were also from the state, she's more convinced than ever.

Oregon was down by 8 at half to Rhode Island....won by 3 points...not even a controlled game by a landslide.

Right, then I guess Gonzaga and every other team with close victories did as well. I guess Gonzaga paid the selection committee to give them an easy road to the final four, huh?

Btw, UNC won by 7 points...not a single or even a few shots, 7 points.

I know it was back and forth but it felt like Oregon would pull away by 4 or 5 then UM would tie it up, then Oregon would pull away again, then UM would cut it down to 3, then Oregon would score again.

Fwiw UM looked like a legit team. Most people on this board had them in the Final Four after what they did to open the tourney.
