The first link I posted works the best and bigger screen. Been watching this for quite a while. Nothing real big happening besides chants and a news station interviewing people.

they did get a solid amount of people...like 75ish?
the comments on the first video are 100x more entertaining than the video as of now

there aren't 450 people in the crowd
75 may be low but that's not bigger than 125 for sure. 100 may have been a better guess
i have to resist posting comments on the video. some of those people are insane. they are acting like this isn't a big deal in the town when it is a big deal and is being handed by the local authorities

There's gotta be a few hundred at least. is the white_tatted kid vid the same as the other one? Someone said there are 2500 people watching between the 2.

Looks like people are clearing out anyways.

a few hundred people is a TON of people. i have worked on political campaigns and getting 200 people to show up for events has a much bigger impact than that. still, 100 for some random and kind of pointless cause is impressive
i really wish i could engage in a rational and respectful discussion with those involved without fear of having the lulz brought down upon me

quote:Yes, but you're sidestepping the issue and it's obvious why when you say that.
Does the state ever spread false information about people they are prosecuting?
So the state does, that means you're ok with Anon doing the same thing and possibly ruining people's lives? What kind of sense does that make?
Dodging questions by asking questions about something else is telling, and it's certainly not making any credible point about Anon whatsoever.
And if Anon was spreading false information about you or your family, you wouldn't like them so much any more, I would imagine. you're taking an easy stance since you're not directly involved.

Just went back to the Roll Red Roll web site and saw the response from them. What is the cliff notes of the follow up?

This is of course completely incorrect, as witnessing a crime and failing to report it is in itself a crime
did we ever confirm that Ohio has a "good samaritan" law?
quote:
And finally he states, again incorrectly – that he CAN’T investigate the gang rape attack or whether or not this has happened to other victims because it is not his jurisdiction. As almost everyone knows, the Sheriff is the highest law enforcement officer in a county and has jurisdiction over ANYTHING in that county. Under constitutional law, his authority even trumps that of the federal law enforcement agencies in his own county
i don't know how ohio handles these things, but this is 100% wrong with respect to the feds. if the feds come and their investigation is pursuant to federal law, they have jurisdiction
out here, for a sheriff to be involved it has to involve an ongoing investigation or fall outside of a city limits. if it's within a city, the city police handle with assistance from the LA State Police if it's too much, typically (but the CPSO can assist)
quote:
several KEY pieces of video and photographic evidence were “inadvertently” deleted by the Sheriff and his deputies.
do we have any confirmation of this?
i know that one kid deleted stuff before he gave up his phone AND testified against the others, but this line keeps being repeated with no backup
quote:
And finally, Sheriff Abdalla runs the largest illegal gambling operation in Jefferson County – employing bookies who work out of the Spot Bar in Steubenville. Sheriff Abdulla’s brother is the largest importer of cocaine in Jefferson County.
oook
quote:
The Honorable Jane Hanlin is a Prosecuting Attorney for Jefferson County and the mother of Big Red football player Charlie Keenan, who is suspected of being a member of “The Rape Crew”. Jane Hanlin represented Edward “Eddie” Lulla in his divorce this summer (spending a great deal of time with him). Mr. Lulla is an agent for the BCI who was sent by the State of Ohio to lend oversight to the rape investigation in Steubenville. Not surprisingly, the State of Ohio found everything to be going smoothly. In addition, “Eddie” Lulla’s son was recently chosen to join Steubenville Police Department out of a pool of three candidates. When ranked, his son was not the first candidate. It is crystal clear why Mr. Lulla was unable to find anything wrong with the current investigation (which is being conducted by SPD) into this horrible crime.
It appears that Prosecutor Hanlin doesn’t just cover for her own son, either. In May of 2012, Ed Wilson a Steubenville Big Red football player and two other unknown individuals shot out the windows of 14 vehicles in Steubenville. Despite being arrested, and confessing to the crime – he was never sentenced or made to pay restitution. The case was handled by Jane Hanlin’s office.
the prosecution is being handled by the State's AG office and not the local prosecutorial agency
quote:
The students in the classes at Steubenville High School are carefully segregated. Football players take their exams separate from other students, and they are allowed and even encouraged to cheat. The teachers assist the players in cheating on state tests, that result in a 100 percent pass rate by all football players on these exams.
And finally, this regime goes beyond mere protection. Big Red Football Players are rewarded for their athletic prowess with a carefully moderated system of vice. Assistant Coach Pierro handles this aspect of the “program”, allowing the boys to view porn on his computer – and even providing drugs and alcohol to those who are “extra” deserving. Pierro is assisted in his seedy duties by none other than James Parks, profiled above. The drugs for the boys “entertainment” are supplied by known local drug dealer Nathan Hubbard, who is also a patron of the Spot Bar in Steubenville from which he is known to peddle his poisons. The “date rape” drug used to knock the victim of the gang rape conscious was supplied by this criminal with the knowledge and consent of Parks and Pierro.
whoever wrote this is going to get suuuuuuuuued
quote:
Cody Saltsman: Saltsman was originally charged in the gang rape. After a private back-room meeting at Mario’s restaurant in Weirton, Ohio between Saltsman’s father, the Sheriff – and a certain Mr. Teramana (a wealthy Steubenville resident) – Cody Saltsman’s charges were mysteriously dismissed. Saltsman is perhaps one of the most repugnant individuals the LocalLeaks staff has ever encountered. His posts on Twitter and other social media show him to not only be completely calous regarding the horrendous abuse that he and his friends meted out upon their defensless victim, but show clearly that this young man is an extremely dangerous sociopath who truly needs to be incarcerated.
his sued the blog that wrote a lot of information about the case for defamation and apparently a settlement was reached (prior to anon even getting involved)

National coverage of case confuses who real villains are
quote:
The only "news" which occurred here was that a minor website with no actual affiliation to a major story had been hacked and a corresponding YouTube video had been taken down. This might have been a minor local story in Steubenville, but certainly was not worthy of national attention, especially considering the issues involved with giving some lawbreakers who are making threats the bullhorn and credibility they are seeking.
quote:
What the Times did was not only effectively become the mouthpiece for a group making illegal threats via illegal means, but it did so in a way that was highly misleading and inaccurate.
quote:
First, the headline indicates that the website which was temporarily hacked into was that of the football team's.
That is just not true. The website is simply run by an independent fan.
quote:
Third, the Times did nothing to even remotely examine the massive legal issues with what the hackers put out as far as their content. They don't mention that that the hacking was obviously illegal, nor do they even seem aware that they were also in violation of numerous other laws in the realm of intimidating witnesses in a criminal case, extorting testimony, making clearly libelous statements and terroristic threats.
The Times also omitted important information regarding the lack of credibility of this group, which did the hacking. Not only did their content reveal a remarkable lack of knowledge of the actual case, but they even misspelled Steubenville in the title of the original YouTube video.
quote:
I did speak with a prominent prosecutor in Ohio who strongly believes that this situation may have groundbreaking legal ramifications for the media. He believes that it is quite possible that the Times may have effectively "aided and abetted" the disruption of the "orderly administration of justice" and the "extortion of testimony" by a group making terroristic threats.
Regardless if it may somehow be deemed illegal (as a free speech advocate I am extremely torn on such issues), there is no question that the reporting of this story was illegitimate, inaccurate and has caused numerous innocent people to be needlessly harassed during the holiday season.

That web site was interesting. Surprised they had all those pictures, but I'm interested to see how it all plays out in February.
