The next morning and it still feels miraculous... only thing missing was the US fans breaking out 'Neck' at the end of the game.

Let me say how much I'm enjoying the sour grapes from Canadian fans. My favorite is the one calling this game next to meaningless.
Yeah, I'll remember how "meaningless" this game is when the US is beating Belarus while Canada has to play Russia. This game was huge, and virtually assures the US will be playing for a medal. Canada now has to beat the best team in the tourney just to make the semis. And then they'll likely have to play Sweden. In their third game in four days. That's a brutal draw.

The NHLPA deserves just as much blame as Bettman does. I hold him responsible for the piss poor managment that signed a deal with NBC and VS - they should have bowed to ESPN's demands contract wise and let the sport continue to grow. Now its hard to find an NHL game on tv even if you are a fan.
One thing about last nights games that I haven't seen many talking heads spewing about this am is how well our D played, don't get me wrong Miller time was huge last night, but we only gave up 1 odd man rush and alot of the shots were bad angle and easy to clear.
Long way to go but I would love to follow up our Jr's gold medal with another, especially getting both on canucker soil.

So they lost to team USA by 1 (without the empty netter), a team full of NHLers and the #1 seed, and all of a sudden, they're going to lose to 0-3 Germany?
Canada wins by at least 3 tonight.
