Oh cool this thread again.
So again, someone please answer me how the 2 players who have the highest usage rate for guards in the league, would been able to be the same player on one team? Russ and Harden both need the ball in their hands to be who they are. Hence OKC trying to have Harden play the Ginobli role. Imagining the current Harden on OKC isn't a conceivable reality because it's his team in Houston.
Also, what if they had maxed Harden, and weren't able to win? The argument could be made they would have run into continual kryptonite based on how Lebron and the Heat ran through them in 2012.

And Harden was Manu 2.0 back then. His point is that they wouldn't have developed into the player he is today without the opportunity to be ball dominant.
eta - Manu may have been a better player as well if he got the same opportunity to be the no.1 player on a team.
