No one knows the whole story, but Kevin Murray is a dipshit that overstepped his parent status at Allen High School by claiming to be on the staff there.
I am sure the elder Murray is to blame for most of the situation by allegedly trying to leverage his son's talent to become the Aggie QB coach and by leading his son down the wrong path by being a shitty role model. #stagemomonsteroids

What?
He quit the team before the bowl game because he lost the starting job to Davis Webb.
If he had stayed he would have been given a scholarship the following year as the backup. Tech put a 3rd string walk on on scholarship this season.
Tech had nothing to do with Mayfield having to follow the same conference and NCAA transfer rules as anybody else. Mayfield is a bitch.
He continually birches about other schools who didn't give him a scholarship out of high school.
