What about your team do you think puts you as #1-2 in the country? Who in your schedule is your marquee win? Why should your SOS be overlooked?

Their SOS according to Sagarin is higher than Bama

An that tells me that the sagarin is BS and biased. What is their argument for that based on?

Look at each teams schedule. How many ranked opponents does each team play? Who do those teams play? I can't figure out how any non-biased mathematical formula could seriously give more credit to boise's creampuff schedule than the meat grinder that is the SEC. Can you argue that?

I'm not defending Boise at all, and don't think they should play for the title. However that same SEC brutality you speak of got absolutely dominated by Boise in week 1, and its looking like Georgia may win their division in the SEC. You can't go giving the SEC a blowjob AND discount what Boise did to Georgia in the same breath.

SEC east is weak this year, it's no secret. But the west is a damn powerhouse. And even with a weak SECe, it's still a tougher schedule than Boise's. Quality opponents should award you a quality ranking, not a feel good win streak against weak opponents. I really want Boise to be able to prove themselves, they've got a good team. But their mettle is not and will not be tested as long as they are in a weak conference. To vault them to great Heights without the proper challenge does a disservice to teams that schedule and play tough games

So its the same old tired argument... they should have to prove they can do it on a weekly basis. Then someone is going to say, "Well no one wants to play them". To which another poster, possibly SFP or Lester Earl will respond, "Its because a home and home with Boise will lose you money and is an unnecessary risk." Boise supporters will then declare the BCS is a fraud, to which some of the non-Boise supporters will agree with. Everyone will jerk off about a playoff for a while, until one idiot from either side flames, and its back to the same old tired arguments again.

I see you got the script.
SO let's take it a different way.
Why does an unbeaten Boise deserve a berth over a 1-loss Oregon, stanford, LSU, bama, wisc, clemson, OK or OkS?

Yup, that sums it up pretty nicely. Thanks for saving us 10 pages of this.

You seem like a nice enough dude on the OT, but the topic has been just beaten to death. Literally this, the QB debates, and NCAA vs. Pro sports are once a week discussions. I could easily dig up at least 5 threads about this that are over 8 pages long. There are literally zero unique viewpoints left on this issue.

As I said in another thread, it will all come down to how bad the Bama/LSU winner beats UGA in the SECCG. If Bama/LSU beats UGA by less than Boise did, pundits will lobby hard for an undefeated Boise to go over a 1 loss team.

They don't. South Carolina (a team who also beat Georgia) would go undefeated with Boise's exact same schedule. That is an absolute fact. So would every team mentioned here..

Oh dear.. not Toledo, Tulsa, Nevada, Fresno State, Colorado State, Air Force, UNLV, TCU, San Diego State, and Wyoming.. It's too much!!

A ton of voters have already came out and stated they would most likely vote a 1 loss BCS school in over an undefeated Boise any ways.

I suppose. I'm really looking to find why Boise fans think their team is a legit contender, and why

It seems that they are Hellbent on busting the BCS and Boise is their best argument for it. The funny part is that a playoff would kill Boise

PAAALEASE. If they played right now, UGA would smoke um. If your think Boise could go unbeaten playing an SEC schedule you are completely crazy.

Shhhhh, apparently their joke of a schedule is off limits. Didn't you hear that one poll had their SOS as harder than Bama's?
I mean, they play all those bigtime ranked schools, right?
