dude its march 4th, and he's pretty much fell to his career averages

He fell to his career averages because he has fallen off a cliff.

Something is wrong with him because he's been playing really really bad.

It's not like he just regressed to the mean over time.

Splitting with Miami, I'll take it.

Harden threw a dumb pass but was big down the stretch. They couldn't guard him. Should have put Lebron on him.

Sadly, I was happy with an OKC split with Miami as well.

We've lost like 7 of 8 from them though.

Also interested to see Rockets Thunder matchup in a few days. Not having Perkins will hurt us. No that's not a misprint.

Can't wait for the OKC game as well.

The Rockets have quite the stretch coming up with Pacers, Blazers, Thunder, Bulls, and then Heat again. This will be very telling of the kind of team we have.

I'm not sold that the Rockets are truly a top team yet. They've had the best record in the NBA since January, but how much of that is due to a soft schedule and how much is an improved team?

These games coming up will be a true test.

If they can come out of it with a respectable record and at least compete in the losses, I'll be sold.

A grind for a week straight with Indy/Portland/OKC back to back to back

Great win nonetheless. Beverly is showing up like AB used to

Heat looked tired, Rockets looked sloppy...I take nothing from this game except for a win.

As said previously, the game in 2 Sundays will tell more; no back to back for either team and the big Sunday game

That was so dumb. But damn that alley oop from mid court in the 3rd

Our bench was abysmal last night. Read a stat that they were outscored 44-15.

This is the key to our postseason run (and turnovers). IMO, it all lies on Lin. If he can get back to playing like how he was in the first half of the season, 6th man of the year potential, our team has championship potential. Don't laugh when I throw out the "Lin for 6th man", his production coming off the bench was fantastic earlier in the season.

Our offense NEEDS scoring off the bench and with Garcia/Casspi playing so horribly, D-Mo looking lost, and Asik looking uninterested most of the time (maybe he's still playing his way back into shape), it lies with Lin getting his shite together.

6th man is Jamal Crawford, and it's not even close

Isn't Jamal also leading the NBA in 4th quarter scoring?

I know, it sucks. And by no means am I saying that he's still in the running for 6th man of the year. I just mean that earlier in the year, he was playing like a top candidate and we need him to get back to that production. If our offense stifles when the starters sit, we have no shot in the playoffs.

I think if Asik can get his crap together, with Lin, they could be good. Not as deep as some benches, but the starting 5 is a pretty good group for sure

Asik has been playing fine. Not sure why people think he's been mailing it in. He's been playing hard.

He's out of shape and looks rusty. Sitting out that long with a knee injury unable to run is showing it's effects in his conditioning. He'll get there, but he's not where he was.

Taj Gibson disagrees.
