Not really, no.

Tulane and Air Force tied at 2 in the bottom of the 4th.

I'm hoping Dehart can finally be the guy people have expected him to be, would be a huge boost to the offense.

Strong start for him!

Random comment here... but it would be nice if Navy moved to the AAC has a full-time member. I know they aren't that good at baseball, but adding a 9th baseball team to the league would balance out scheduling a little bit.
Yeah, it sucks having to play Houston twice.

I think Tulane could be good too, but I'm not ready to crown them. They did lose two of the best defensive players in school history. It depends on if any of the freshman can contribute. Pitching is very good though

Tulane can't hit and defense won't be as good as last year. Hell Dehart dropped a fly ball to allow the go ahead run.

You're being reactionary. Tulane didn't really play well today but it's a long season. 2 games in February isn't a good reason to believe Tulane won't hit. Spoon will fricking mash. Montalbano, Willsey and Williams hit well too. Hope will hit homers but not much else

I think you're spot on. There's a lot of talent on this team, and it's way too early for any hot takes.

In other news Tulane actually won a basketball game today, and by 23 points

I'm just being reactionary but I thought they were gonna win both games today.

Spoon, DeHart, and Williams will all hit. I agree.

I've seen these kids now for 4 years and in several scrimmages this year. This group is not close to what was on the field from 99-2006. Pitchers are going to have to hold teams to 3 or 4 runsto win games.

The women's basketball team is down 2 to UCONN with 5 minutes left.

Yeah they should have, but it won't kill their RPI. Air Force isn't a terrible team

Congrats, I've been watching them for 4 years as well. I agree that they're not as good as most of those teams. Doesn't mean they're as bad as you're saying they are. In the BBCOR era most teams are going to need to hold their opponents to 3-4 runs to win. That's college baseball now. All the guys returning hit pretty well last year. They may not have had good batting averages but OBP and slugging are more important.

This time it was the starting pitcher, Massey couldn't throw strikes. 3 walks and a hit batter in the first inning alone. Tulane has struck out 30 time in the first 3 games.
