Damn, your projections are very boring. Do you go to Steamer and zips projections and sort descending? Where's the fun in that?

AL MVP: Mike Trout
AL Cy Young: David Price
AL Rookie: Jharel Cotton

AL East: Red Sox
AL Central: Indians
AL West: Astros
AL Wild Card: Blue Jays
AL Wild Card: Orioles

AL Postseason:
Blue Jays over Orioles
Astros over Red Sox
Indians over Blue Jays
Astros over Indians

NL MVP: Nolan Arenado
NL Cy Young: Rich Hill
NL Rookie: Dansby Swanson

NL East: Nationals
NL Central: Cubs
NL West: Dodgers
NL Wild Card: Rockies
NL Wild Card: Pirates

NL Postseason:
Rockies over Pirates
Cubs over Nationals
Rockies over Dodgers
Cubs over Rockies

Cubs over Astros - as long as my favorite team is a legit contender and favorite, why not?

Other predictions:
The Cardinals record a losing season.
The Tigers, Rangers, and Rays all win 85+ games and miss the playoffs.
Kershaw's back issues continue, but the Dodgers still win a league-high 102 games.
The Padres only win 57 games.

I would melt so bad if this happens.

Prediction: Washington will have a dominant regular season and then do arse in the playoffs. Because that's how we roll.

(in everything)

On the real: Rangers over Dodgers

Harper did in 2015. Trout did in 2016. So it's certainly possible, although you pretty much have to lap the field to pull it off, and I don't see Arenado doing that.

Yeah. Its going to take 9-10 WAR from him, and Arenado was worth 5.2 last year. I seriously doubt he can do that.

Corey Seager
Trea Turner
Anthony Rizzo
Starling Marte
Giancarlo Stanton

That would probably be my top 5 in the NL right now.

I'd have a top 3 in the NL of Bryant, Harper and Kershaw.

Arenado continues to attack his weaknesses and improve in every facet of the game. Would you really be surprised if he drops a 6-7 win season?

Plus, I have the Rockies grabbing the Wild Card. Their roster is so exciting.

I wasnt talking about you since you had the Rockies in the WC. I could definitely see him being in the discussion if they make the playoffs. Im just saying that if they miss the playoffs, it would take a Trout like year for him to get it.

Rockies could definitely be a contender for the playoffs if that young pitching takes another step. They will definitely hit the ball.

You are not off base with your point, but I am also hoping that the voters have gotten a little bit smarter.

I am just saying that a stupid 8+ win season from a guy like Arenado is not impossible. He is already a top 10 type player.

I do think the Rockies have an underrated staff. The surface stats will never look great due to Coors, but I really like Jon Gray and Tyler Anderson. And the back end is pretty solid too.

Giants over Indians

Last year, Giants had no closer, they locked that up, and having no closer cost them the free fall to wild card.

Chatwood is serviceable even though he was a bit lucky last year. Hoffman is very talented.

I just remember how fun Rocktober was. I love watching teams that can mash (the recent Blue Jays are awesome to watch).

So the Cubs are gonna knock out the Nats in the NLCS and then the Red Sox are gonna knock the Nats out again in the WS?

I'm going full homer. I don't think the Red sox are nearly as good as people think. Their "3 aces" staff includes a declining David Price and Rick Porcello coming off an outlier of a great season. And for all the talk of how young they are, their hitters (even excluding Ortiz) are at league average and their staff is actually older than league average. Throw in that teams that make a huge progression one year tend to regress the next, and I think the Sox will struggle more than anyone thinks. Full homer. It's Orioles Magic, baby.

AL East: Orioles
AL Central: Indians
AL West: Rangers
AL WC: Royals
AL WC: Blue Jays
AL MVP: Manny Machado. FULL HOMER.
AL Cy Young: Yu Darvish, Rangers

The Nats can't choke again, can they? Of course they can. They are the Nats, but they will wait until the playoffs, because that division sucks out loud. The Cubs will have a hangover, sneak into the playoffs, and then wreck things from there.

NL East: Nats
NL Central: Pirates
NL West: Dodgers
NL WC: Rockies
NL WC: Cubs
NL MVP: Anthony Rizzo, Cubs
NL Cy Young: Stephen Strasburg, Nats

ALCS: Rangers over Orioles, my marriage falls apart over it
NLCS: Cubs over Dodgers

WS: Cubs over Rangers. Repeat city.
