I don't hate it. Payton has looked decent but he hasn't shown that he's going to be one of the best PGs in the league. Grab an asset like Mudiay and if he can consistently hit a shot then you can dump Payton or just have a quality backup ball handler who can defend.

The point is I just want to prove my GM dominance by taking a stud player in the 1st round, and then trading a worthless superstar for more picks to make me look even more genius

Sacramento Kings
Team needs: Defenders at any position, perimeter shooters, a big to pair with DeMarcus Cousins
Pick: 6
2014-15 results: 29-53, missed playoffs
Sacramento, frankly, could use any player able and willing to guard. This team ranked near the bottom in the league in points allowed per possession last season for good reason: Cousins is the only plus defender on the roster. The rest carries with it varying levels of deficiency, including that which makes some potential role players into benchwarmers.
The Kings’ renovated front office ought to start there. Beyond that, they need to search out ways to provide Cousins with the kind of perimeter counterparts he deserves. A player so skilled around the basket can’t produce to the fullest without reliable spacing. Thus far Sacramento has done a crummy job of providing it, a fact that will hopefully soon be rectified by this summer’s changes and the teachings of coach George Karl.
There’s room for Sacramento to play a part in free agency this summer and make the most of the No.6 pick via selection or trade. Unfortunately, there’s so much left to be done with this group those means would provide only a partial solution. — R.M.

With the 6th pick in the 2015 MSB NBA Draft, the Sacramento Kings select...
Willie Cauley-Stein, Center from Kentucky
I like pairing him with Demarcus Cousins(for however long Cousins is in SAC).

Nice pick. I thought about WCS for a split second when I started panicking about my pick

I know but I'm just really not too fond of Euro workout warriors. I don't have the stats but it just seems like the bust rate is much higher with those guys.
Now that I say that, he's probably going to be the next Dirk lol

this pick may take a while, shane hasnt really been around today

I don't blame you. I said the same thing about him a few weeks ago.
I'm not as worried about it with Hezonja because he has been playing with Barcelona for a while.

This. Karl needs to wake up and realize he needs Cousins. You have a WCS-Cousins low post tandem and you're solid

Yeah I actually had 3 players on my draftboard, Winslow, Mudiay and WCS. I was debating between these 3 and after first two were taken I also considered Hezonja but instead went ahead with WCS.

Yeah, I was referring more to these 7 foot euros that can shoot the 3 ball. It seems like they always come out of nowhere and skyrocket up the draft boards after the individual workouts.
I wouldn't be surprised if Hezonja turns into a stud. I love his cockiness
I'm not too sold on Mudiay either but I think he's still a much safer bet than Porzingis IMO.

I love Mudiay, I just didn't like the fit.

There's no way Porzingis falls this far.
Posted on 6/24/15 at 3:40 pm to Fun Bunch
Its not like he fell out of the top 10 yet.

I have a bunch of mocks tabbed open right now and the furthest he falls in any of them is 5th
