Fowler takes the Zurich, with the soft conditions, his aggressive play will allow him to go very low in the first round

I'll ask this here because I'll prob get more answers:

Anyone know the status of the new city park course? Last I heard was this from Nov 2012:

LINK

"There are a few more hurdles to cross with FEMA and the state as well as a management agreement to draw up with the Bayou District Foundation. But those aren’t considered major issues and construction on the new golf course could start as early as February. At that start date, completion would likely be in the fall of 2014. A later construction start could mean the course would open in the summer of 2015."

As far as I know they haven't started yet, Just seeing if anyone knows anything.

Afternoon guys are coming out on fire. Rickie is -2 after 2. So far, good call by Navajo.

Lots of birdies already for the afternoon players.

I was watching golf channel coverage last night and Ricky was on the range and you could see some oranged-out 12 year old staring him down

Probably the same kid we saw there last year, him and his chubby friend in the purple puma

not a chance. I saw at least 20 guys in full golf gear today, including the shoes. A bunch of douches, I tell ya. There was even a Sirius radio color commentator who was in full golf garb, shoes, white belt, and custom belt buckle included.

white belt,

I can't stand the white belt craze. Anytime I play on weekends its always a douche bag that wears the white belt. Hope this fad ends soon.
