In today's NFL I would have thought that this was not possible. Pretty bizarre.

I'm kinda shocked that none of us ever came to this conclusion on our own. Now that I think about it, I never watch a Packers game and have memories of those players with other teams. Makes sense.

The 1979 Steelers have that beat. NONE of them had ever played for another team.

i could believe something like that back then when the contracts made them pretty much life long. but in today's FA contract world, it's crazy. if there was a franchise where this would happen, it would have to be the packers. old arse way of working

To be fair, the '79 Steelers also didn't deal with an NFL where a lot of teams have a rotating door.

I'd like to know who's on the opposite end of the spectrum.

I dunno. The 49ers aren't doing a bad job of it either.

I would think this stat would also help in undrafted free agent recruitment. You have a real chance to stick there, since they aren't grabbing free agents to take your place.

I wouldn't have 99% of the players were drafted or signed as UDFA, but I definitely would have said over 90%

That's all analyst talk about: How great of a job Ted Thompson does drafting.
