Sparty hasn't really played anyone yet so I haven't seen anything from them. so I'm leaning Notre Dame based on how bad Sparty was last year.

Thoughts: more mediocre, overhyped football with plenty of national attention disproportionate to its importance.

We all lose.

Well said. With that I hope MSU houses them. But given just how awful they were last year I don't see that happening, even despite how overrated ND is each and every year.

It's usually a great CFB game every year.

If that's not your thing, then that's not your thing.

ND 17-14. I think their running game will be the difference in a slugfest.

Anyone else think Mark Dantonio doesn't get the love, as being a real good coach, as he should?

When they talk about top coaches in cfb, they forget the guy, and then put him in that 10-15 area of ranking.

He's fantastic. The problem is Michigan and Penn State have gotten really good again

I predict a MSU victory along the lines of 23-17.

Strange, strange things happen when MSU and Notre Dame play in East Lansing. I think Sparty wins a tight one but I wouldn't bet a dime on it.

Pessimistic in thinking ND wins but who knows with this game. Huge for MSU given how poor last season went.

How does the bullshite 2013 game get forgotten as much as it has? It cost MSU the national championship

It's probably Kelly's best win in his entire career, if that tells you anything.

I just watched the replays of all the PI's again, and of the five major ones, two were definitely PI, two were very questionable, and one was kind of a tweener.

Oh well. I consider it a make up for the offensive pass interference that gave MSU the win in the Little Giants game in 2010.

No idea what to think of this game this weekend.
