Am I overreacting in thinking that this is a must win tonight

Yes. How could a road game ever be a MUST win with your ace pitcher set up to go on full rest at home in a game 5?

This makes absolutely no sense. FYI - Lester pitched against the Giants at Wrigley about a month ago and threw 8 innings and only gave up one run. He threw an 8 inning shutout this time around. If you're hitting your spots the number of times you have faced them isn't relevant.

I just think Cueto's stuff is slightly better and Lester has a slightly less margin of error.

I also think 5 days is different than a month and if you've seen those "spots" fairly recently it gives the batter "maybe" a better feel and chance than if you haven't seen those spots in a month.

But whatever, I hope the Cubs win whether it's tonight or Thursday.

If it makes you feel any better, this morning I hated that I didn't fall asleep in the 6th inning.

The MSB is making shift work of watching the Cubs playoffs.

Sabi we're gonna need you.

Has anyone heard from Badger? I fear he's taking a nap, of the dirt variety.

I barely slept a fricking wink last night. Got into bed around 2 and then my mind was racing...so much so that a melatonin and 1/3 of a sleeping pill couldn't overcome it. But I'm a soldier. I'll make it tonight. This is bigger than us.

I totally took a little snoozer at my desk, but I'm going to need a nap when I get home.

I powered through and finished the game last night. But the alarm to get up for work at 5:30 was not kind to me.

Can't wait till 7:30
