Not a big Greenberg fan, but...

@Espngreeny: Terrific game. Too bad Phil Cuzzi didn't see it. #Cubs #Cardinals

Couldn't have had a more fitting end to that game. Well it's on you now Hendricks.

No, it's on Rizzo and Bryant to start hitting.

Not our night. We walk a lot as a team, but with whoever it was behind the plate tonight, you would have had to have been a little leaguer to walk someone with that zone. They very well may keep momentum and roll us, but I don't expect any of the remaining games to be like this.

Yep. Cuzzi was bad for both teams. Cards were better tonight. Let's come back tomorrow.

I've come to know over the years that these things are just impossible to predict. It all swings so much from game to game that this time tomorrow night either one of us maybe planning on a 4 game series or buying World Series tickets, it's just the crazy fun game of baseball. I don't expect a sweep but other than that I have no idea and am just gonna enjoy the ride

Some positives to take away for the cubs

- Cards weren't able to get a single hit off the cubs closer

- Get to watch the cubs in at least 2 more postseason games

- John Lackey won't be able to pitch again until at least game 4

- Shark Tank is currently on

Why is Hendricks starting over Hammel?

I guess because Hendricks has been pitching well recently

Lackey makes $500,000 this year, while Lester is taking home more than $21,000,000.

The Cubs really know what they are doing.

That's because Lackey had a clause in his contract with Red Sox that if he missed a certain amount of time due to injury, he would play this season at the league minimum.

John Rooney sounded so much cooler saying "That's a White Sox Winner!"

Yes, I'm still bitter about him leaving over money

They are referring to Jack Buck not Rooney.

I'd be okay with them not doing that
