Blues have a lot of decisions coming up.

resign Maroon? Extending Schenn

The softest dman in hockey will be up in a year or so, extend Petro???? Can't extend everyone, and guys in AHL who are ready.

give binninton a bridge deal?

What do you do with Allen? Had Seattle been in this years draft, they could of been a perfect spot to dump him with a pick.

Interested to see how much organizations learned from the Vegas expansion draft going fwd. Don’t think Seattle will be able to put a roster together quite like Vegas did.

If i was Seattle and Allen is dangled with a pick, i'd take him immediately.

He's still yet to hit the mature age for a goalie, he can come in and start or share with a kid, while you build. And you have to take on some shite contracts, his isn't the worst that will be dangled.

Go Bolts! No need to worry about setting a points record this year. Just play for 3rd or 4th in the Conference, probably be an easier match-up come playoff time.

There's a not insignificant chance that Braden Holtby will be exposed in the expansion draft, so I wouldn't be tying myself to any goaltender if I'm Seattle. There's gonna be some good ones available.

I'd like to thank the Flyers for taking the remainder of the Matt Niskanen contract, now that he has turned into pumpkin and needs to be protected on the third pair.

Yes, extend Maroon if the terms are team friendly.

Do what reasonable to keep Schenn.

Parako is my top defenseman priority. If Petro fits in around Parako, great. If not, and you can make another run with Petro I have no problem letting him eventually walk as a free agent. If another run isn't in the cards, trade him for the right price.

Binnington is a must keep regardless of cost.

If I'm Doug Armstrong I'm looking to extend Oscar Sundqvist and Ivan Barbashev to reasonable deals now. They proved their worth in shutting down the opponent's top lines and possess offensive upside. If a restructure is possible with Alexander Steen I do it, although he's nearing the end of the trail so I can't extend him very far in a new deal.

I'd like to keep Edmundson at a fair price.

As for Jake Allen, if I can unload the contract "hooray"! If not I keep one more year and hope to deal him to Seattle in the expansion draft.

That's an AAV of $7 million for a guy who has scored 20 goals in a season just one time. He's already 27, and unlikely to improve. This could be the new Bobby Ryan deal.
