Has nothing to do with knocking anyone out.

That's a given

He should have been suspended 8 games to begin with and none of this backlash would have happened.

Why should he get punished for the NFL's frick up?

Hypothetical:

If a Ray McDonald video surfaced of him landing 10 blows to the face, should he get more than 6 games? No because those are the idiotic rules the NFL implemented.

Ideally he should be gone at least a year, just like Rice should be, but the NFL has no clue how to manage its own league

Rice and the NFL will reach a settlement that will suspend Rice for 8 games and require him to complete domestic violence counseling before he can be reinstated. They will work together because Rice doesn't need the additional negative pr the fight will create and the NFL can't afford to lose the appeal.

I'm not saying he shouldn't win his appeal(he should), I'm saying he won't be looked at any more favorably if he does.

NFL can reinstate. Does not matter. There is not a team that will sign him. So he will not have a job.

Question would be how it may affect what Baltimore May or May not owe him under his contract when they cut him.

He will get it reduced but it won't help him play football. No team is touching this dumpster fire.

I was wondering when they were finally going to do this.

And I was wondering if crazy people were going to get mad at the NFLPA for doing their job.

they should pay him for the 14 games he was due this year.

Those games haven't even happened yet. You're talking about the future in past tense. Makes no sense man.

Why did NFL suspend Rice indefinitely? Couldn't Ravens cutting him and Rice then ending up on the black list have averted this PR nightmare?

All it did was add fuel to the fire in my estimate.
