1/5 of the remaining field was wiped out by the deadline. Makes it sounds worse with such a small field.

Alive: 35

Packers (at SF): 4
Seahawks (vs. DET): 4
Chargers (vs. CLE): 3

Dead: 6

Raiders (at CHI): 3
Cardinals (vs. STL): 1
Cowboys (at NO): 1
Eagles (at WAS): 1

Sucks that all picks are locked in on Thursday night because of one game .. Andrew Luck being announced out this morning sucks .. Would have changed my pick

Colts made us sweat

Knew it would be a long day without Luck..

I have a survivor question I thought of because of this game..

What happens in the rare event of a tie? Do you still survive?

I first picked ATL.. then Indy.. and was torn between the two.. ehh... I wish I had just picked ATL so I didn't have to sweat. I am glad Colts pulled it out but I almost hope they lose every game going forward because of that performance.. haha

Yeah the lock stinks..

Officially, you're dead, but because of the way the system works, you can still pick. It happened last year, but none of the people who picked that game survived until the end, so it didn't become an issue.

Good question on the tie .. Which almost happened .. Technically, a tie survives, IMO .. Chicken needs to change the Thursday lock on NFL survivor and pick 'em ..

Oh wow.. because that Indy game was really starting to look like a possible tie and I almost would have taken it.. Ha.

That's good to know! I see what you mean.

good more people arent on Arizona

the local media hacks loved the Rams this week, they think Palmer, his lack of ability, and how he holds on to the ball too long(2nd in league on holding ball before throwing) played into rams front 4.

we shall see.

Thanks! It does gets easier to update each week. Especially after the Week 2 bloodbath this year, which I was sadly a part of.

Day games are done, 31 survivors so far, with another 5 waiting for a later game. The field is thinning out a lot faster than last year.

I was one of the many that got washed out in week 2 with the Saints.

We need to have a 2nd half of the season survivor using the last 8 games.

I have Seattle.

How many entries total at beginning of season?
I haven't seen this many eliminated so early before

2,039 started the season, and the vast majority were eliminated by Week 2.

I wish in survivor that if you didn't pick one of the Thursday teams that you would still be able to pick a team up until a few minutes before kickoff on Sunday.

Also should be applied to overall Pick em

Yeah, the Thursday deadline is probably responsible for almost all the deadline eliminations. If the Thursday game could be locked after kickoff, but all the rest kept open until the early games on Sunday, that would work a lot better.
