What beckham did was criminal

I don't know what was said with the bat. He certainly wasn't going to use it. Again how stupid are y'all?

Better to go after a bitch like Norman, who obviously can't fight, after he intentionally body slams you.

How does this happen in Jersey? Are Giants fans not hard anymore?

No way some dude does this in Philly.

He would need more than a baseball bat to protect himself.

Regardless of what that thug said to Odell, he needs to keep his composure. Clearly it affected his ability to focus on the game at hand. Disappointed he let it get the best of him and make a boneheaded mistake.

You don't even know if that is Norman or what was said

It still doesn't make what Beckham did right. Everything was pretty mild until he launched his helmet on a guy not even looking. At least before that everything was head-up tussling

Probably not a smart move taking your helmet off while being approached by someone with a bat.

We aren't dumb, but we can smell a rat. This thing stunk from the first snap. OBJ was provoked from the start and the refs made it clear that they were not going to do anything to stop it. So OBJ fought fire with fire.

It's just ridiculous that the "talking heads" have totally ignored the panthers role in this. Trent Dilfer did acknowledge that you can watch the film and see the Panthers routinely starting crap.

Taken in context and understanding that the Panthers had bad intentions toward him as a gameplan, I would say getting earholed would fall under the risk you take.

Not sure if you caught Cam Newton having a private conversation w Beckham after the game, but I think it might be safe to say they may share similar feelings toward that corner.

There was a ton of fail in how this matter was handled by everyone involved.

Chad's just being an annoying immature poster like always. Cant even go on the Saints talk because of him.

I definitely think Beckham lost his cool and crossed the line. Wish he would have handled it differently. But he didn't. And put yourself in his shoes; someone walks up to him with a bat and threatens to end his career...which is his entire world. Then the first few plays Norman body slams him, throws punches, etc and it goes uncalled. Hes probably wondering in the back of his mind if these guys are really serious. And even if they aren't and just wanna mess with him a bit, It only takes one body slam to cause a freakish accident, even if they don't actually intend to really ruin his career. I'd prolly flip my shite at 23 too with all that going on.

That is suspect. Just proves that winning grants you immunity on ESPN. They only care about who's winning
