Ha you guys from Louisiana whose knowledge about the Cubs is limited to Rookie of the Year are cute.
I'm just trying to avoid the "Cubs bar" where I'd be sure to be bombarded by questions from "fans" like "When is Kerry Wood coming in?" and "How many points do you get for a fastball?"

I would guess that the number of people who are bandwagon Indian fans bc of the Major League series far outnumber The number of bandwagon of Cubs fans that like it bc of Rookie of the year

Agreed. Hearing the fan base bitch about not winning a title in however long was bad enough, if they win they'll likely crown the team the best in the history of the sport.
I pray they're eliminated at home after leading By 4-5 runs because Russell botches a double play and a fan interferes on a foul ball that would have gotten them out of a jam, but instead a rally, capped off by a Lindor bomb, ends things causing the city to burn to the ground and the franchise to disband and cease to exist.

It's not a fan bar but Tracey's on magazine is baseball bar central. Parasol's is around the corner if you get hungry but i hear Tracey's poboys are really good (but I don't trust the person who told me that)
