They hired the wrong coach after Pelini.

I like them in the Big 10. Games versus Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa make sense geographically.

1) Huskerboard wants nothing to do with the Big XII. Oklahoma State fan asked and they all said, “No.”

Solich was fired because Husker fans were spoiled by Tom Osborne winning like 60 games with only 3 losses in his last 5 years.

Also, going from Solich and the option that the entirety of Nebraska high school football was running to Callahan and the West Coast Offense was mind numbingly short sighted.

Gotta remember that Callahan wasn't first choice, dickweed Houston Nutt was. Nutt backed out last minute, and Nebraska was left scrambling for a coach.
Solich didn't know how to recruit, and wouldn't have lasted long. He's found the perfect spot for himself at Ohio.
Something tells me that Riley is gonna hit .500 this year and save his job by doing so... the games vs. NW, Minnesota, and Purdue are going to be his make-or-break games

Really the biggest thing Riley needs to do if he wants to stay is get rid of Langsdorf and Cav and replace them with someone who runs an offense that fits Nebraska.
It's pretty clear so far this season that brining in Diaco was a huge improvement for the defense so now all he needs to do is that same for the offense.

Big XII is an absolute joke and Nebraska is better long term being in a stable viable conference.

Well I feel less bad for them now. Somebody running them was dumb.
Look at Nebraska history and say "Yeah,Houston Nutt is the guy to carry it on!"
