I disagree but to each his own. Are you watching the Army-Navy game? Condon got me all fired up about it.

Their D is better than Bamas.

Bama's D sees less snaps than theirs does by far, 774 for Bama, and 904 for Nebraska.

They give up the same yardage per snap, and considering the offense they have, are on the field all game long. Give me that all day. Plus, they have the best D-line in football. You can scheme all you want to. The Huskers get pressure on raw playing ability.

They don't have the back 7 Alabama has on defense.

A big reason their games are close is that teams play conservative on offense because they know Nebraska won't do shite on offense. This makes their defense look better by extension. Basically, offenses play against their defense like Florida played against LSU's defense.

dum tread, btw

I think their secondary is better than Alabama's. A good bit of their sacks are coverage sacks. Alabama definitely has better line backers.

Worst reasoning ever. Was Texas playing conservative with 36 pass attempts?

You obviously haven't watched Nebraska play much this season.

I can't argue with ignorance.

I'm guessing you saw them play exactly one game this year.

I actually got to watch them play Missouri, Texas, Virginia Tech, and CU. None of them were playing ultra conservative.

You know how Pinkel runs his offense at Mizzou...hell they attempted 43 passes that game. Hawkins runs a pass happy offense at CU. They are just not any good at it. Virginia Tech, while being a very run oriented team, still attempted 27 passes.

I don't know why you guys think Bama'a defense is anything better than well coached. None of these kids, short of 1 or 2 are even Saban's recruits. They are all carry overs from the previous regime. 7 seniors, and 2 juniors.

Bama's back 7 is decent, but to me, not anything better than Nebraska's. This all stinks of SEC superiority thinking in my book. The same thinking that had Ohio State(previous years) as a team with no talent, when they were busy sending ridiculous amounts of players to the NFL.

I don't like Nebraska, or Bama. I am completely neutral. Just calling it like it is. Some of you don't realize that Bama's so called monstrous D is comprised mostly of players nobody wanted, and some that are pretty good. Arenas, Cody, Deaderick, Reamer, and Anders are all 3 star recruits. The only 5 star being Nico Johnson.

These are mostly kids that Saban coached up, not the young monsters he has been recruiting the last couple years. They win largely on discipline, and scheme. When you watch Bama, you come away not thinking that one player dominated, but that they were just good.

IMO, they are not that much better than Nebraska. It's just when you have a player like Suh, you can do more, because you don't have to commit any extra bodies to getting after the QB.
