This is what happens when teams with great athletes but who are dumb as rocks when it comes to basketball IQ, run into teams that, thought not as athletic, understand how to play the game. Couple that with weak coaching acumen (Drew) and you get a bloodbath.

It's why teams like Baylor, Florida State, Memphis (and LSU in the future) can look great against other athletic teams, but get blasted by teams that play Wisconsin's style. The players and the coaches (basketball wise) are just too dumb to adjust.

Filled out my bracket and saw I had too much of the same stuff as Obama. Went back and changed some stuff and this was one of the games I changed...picking Baylor to win.

Thanks Obama.

How would you adjust against this Wisconsin team?

It's just a bad matchup. Wisconsin is really good and knows how to move the ball.

This shows that Scott Drew is still a terrible coach.

He has a talented roster every year and never does anything with it.

I know they made 2 Elite 8s and a Sweet 16, but his win over Creighton last Sunday was Baylor's first ever NCAA tourney win over a single digit seed.

A good coach wouldn't go 9-9 in that league and miss the NCAA tourney in 2009 and 2011 and 2013

People didn't trust Wisky to make it past the 16 based on the past. This team is really legit. May not win it all, but they have tons of good wins

Use your athleticism to your advantage and attack them off the dribble. Drive and kick, and/or swing the ball around the perimeter quickly. You have to speed them up. You can't just sit there and be passive on offense if you're a poor outside shooting team. Watch how Dayton is attack Stanford team that wants to be methodical.

I would press, maybe 3/4 court.

Easier said than done to drive and kick on Wisconsin because Baylor doesn't have a ton of ball handlers.
